DUAL Softswitch is a product of Westbay Engineers Ltd.  We have been offering professional consulting and software services since 1989.

Westbay Engineers Limited has been providing telecommunications project management and network design services since 1989.  We have worked on many major projects for customers throughout Europe in the following business sectors:

In April 1996, we launched Westplan, a voice network design tool to assist users with the design of cost effective voice networks. Drawn on the extensive experience of our consultants, Westplan can become a valuable tool for users with any level of telecommunications experience.  This has since been followed by four other products relating to voice over IP and call centre design.

Our customers include AT&T, MCI, British Telecom, Siemens, Ericsson and numerous other carriers and operators of private networks.

We are a Private Limited Company based in Crawley, near Gatwick Airport, 50 kilometres south of London in the U.K.

DUAL Softswitch has been the switching and billing engine behind our own VoIP calling service (DUAL Talk) since 2003.

It is designed and tuned specifically to run on Windows Server and was written completely in-house; right down to the H.323 and SIP protocol stacks.

We are making the final preparations to launch DUAL Softswitch as a commercial product, and expect it to be in general release in the next few months.
