Your customers can access the call shop billing system by logging on to http://callshop.dualsoftswitch.com/.  This can be customised for your own domain name (please contact our support team for further information).  You can enable and disable access to the call shop biller on a per account basis by changing the settings on the account using the DUAL Softswitch Administration System.  Access is enabled by default.

Your customers will be prompted for your Provider name, an Account Number and Password.  The Account Number is the number that was allocated when the account was created.  There are two possible passwords they can use to access the system.  These are created automatically when an account is created and can be changed using the DUAL Softswitch Administrative Control Panel.

Operator password

Using this password will give the user access to the operational aspects of the control panel, allowing them to carry out customer facing duties such as enabling booths and collecting payments.  They do not have visibility of any commercial aspects of the business, so they cannot see how much the shop pays you for VoIP termination, and they cannot perform any configuration tasks.  The Operator password can be viewed by clicking on the Configuration link when logged on as an Administrator.  The password can be changed using the DUAL Softswitch Administration System.

Administrator password

The Administrator password gives the user access to the configuration options available on the control panel and allows them to set the selling rates.  The Administrator password is always identical to the account's main password.  The password can be changed using the DUAL Softswitch Administration System.

There are two modes of billing operation.  Standard Billing is the default mode made available to the customer.  Advanced Billing introduces extra features and requires that the Administrator explicitly defines the booths in use.

Both of these modes requires that each VoIP device sending calls to DUAL Softswitch be set with a unique identification.  For SIP devices, this means that the that the User ID for each device must be unique, but the authentication ID and password must match the credentials of the account.  For H.323, the Calling Party Number must be unique for each device.  The exact configuration details depend on the VoIP gateway or IP phone being used.
