The following details can be configured in the Numbering settings section of the carrier settings page:

Technical prefix

This digit string is added to the beginning of the dialled number.  It is required by some carriers.

International prefix

If the carrier require an international dialling code such as 011 for out of country calls, enter it into this box.

Country code

The country code for the carrier.  For example, '44' for the UK.  This is only required if the carrier require an international prefix for out of country calls, but no prefix for national calls.

Long distance prefix

A single digit that indicates to the carrier that the call is destined for their own country.

Number type

For H.323 carriers only, select the type of number that the carrier requires.  If the carrier have not provided this information, then set it to Public.

Numbering options

Many carriers require calls to be sent in E.164 format.  In that case, leave the Technical prefix, International prefix, Country code and Long distance prefix blank.  Other carriers, such as Betamax, allow you to select between different routes through the use of technical prefixes such as 00001 and 00000.  In that case, enter the digit string into the Technical prefix field.
