Tariffs

Tariffs determine the per minute rates that callers will be charged in conjunction with dial codes. You can view the current tariffs by clicking on the Tariffs link on the left sidebar within the Routing box. From this page, updates to current tariffs and new tariffs can be uploaded.

Tariffs are uploaded in Microsoft Excel format. The workbook must have at least three columns:

1.	The country (eg. UK).

2.	The city or network (eg. London).

The combination of country and city/network must match an entry in the Dial Codes set.

3.	The per minute rate for this destination in the currency in use.

After the upload process, Excel rate tables are automatically generated and can be downloaded by your customers at their CDR control panel (http://cdr.dualsoftswitch.com/). Any customers assigned to an updated tariff will also receive an automatic email shortly before midnight advising them that there is a new tariff available. Further routing options can be included with the tariff upload to control direct or Least Cost Routing options for customers on this tariff. Please read the Call Rating section for more information.
